Inspection operations after steel pipe welding

Testing steel pipes after straight seam welding is the basic principle of acoustic pipe detection in pile foundation engineering. When straight seam welding of steel pipes, the joint is completed under a certain pressure and temperature; when the steel plate cools to normal temperature, the joint will naturally shrink and then return to its original shape. Because the friction caused by joint shrinkage is so small, it is difficult to detect. Therefore, to improve the inspection speed, the two-point bending method is usually used to measure the length of the steel pipe, and the diameter of the steel pipe is calculated through the formula.

The following points need to be noted when inspecting steel pipes after straight seam welding:
1. Be sure to conduct a compressive strength test on the pile concrete before installation.
2. Complete the joint under high-pressure conditions. Do not pile a large amount of stones or cement blocks on the joint.
3. Only authorized certificates can be used
4. Inspection and acceptance personnel must receive professional training
5. Conduct quality inspection
6. After the product leaves the factory, it must be packaged in strict accordance with the specifications.
