Technical requirements for large-diameter plastic-coated steel pipes

Steel pipe surface treatment: The surface of the steel pipe must be clean and dry, free of oil, rust, scale, and other impurities to ensure the adhesion and corrosion resistance of the coating.

Coating material selection: Coating materials should be selected according to the use environment and requirements, such as epoxy resin, polyurethane, polyester, etc.

Coating thickness: The coating thickness should meet the design requirements, generally between 80-120μm. Coating uniformity: The coating should be uniform and smooth, without defects such as sags, bubbles, cracks, etc. Baking conditions: Baking should be carried out at the specified temperature and time after coating to ensure the hardness and corrosion resistance of the coating.

Testing requirements: The coating should undergo quality testing, including testing of coating thickness, adhesion, corrosion resistance, and other indicators.

Packaging and Shipping: Plastic-coated steel pipe should be properly packaged and shipped to prevent damage or peeling of the coating.
